Halloween 2008 - Dance On Me

Boston, MA:
To most, Halloween is the day where kids dress up in whatever they wish to be when they grow up. To most, Halloween is the night where these kids walk from door to door and get all different kinds of candy as treats. To the city of Boston, Halloween was a night to dance; a night to drink; a night to dress as someone else, whether it be a firefighter, or a cat, or an angel, or a mime, or most importantly, an 80's dancer.

Carrie Oakey was that "guy". And this time, being "that guy" was certainly not a bad thing. Carrie Oakey was Juan Pablo de Pace, more commonly known as the guy from the "Call On Me" video. And yes, he was surrounded by gorgeous women all night. Not only were they gorgeous, they were dressed in 80's garb, namely tights which looked as if they were painted on, accompanied by pigtails…and to top it off…he too was dress alike, minus the pigtails. Clad in skin tight gold pants, Oakey was the nest for these young chicks.

"It was phenomenal!" exclaimed Otis Sanderson, friend of Oakey. "Not only did she have women clinging to him throughout the entire night, but the kid cut one hell of a rug! She broke out dance moves I don't even think Mike Jackson had ever thought of." At one point, the crowd gathered around him and cheered for him, and he danced the night away.

"Meow!" said Luther Brewster, dressed as Sylvester. "My original plan was to try to get some "puddy cat" tonight, but when I saw this guy, I knew…I just knew that it was Carrie that I would be leaving with." And he was right!

When asked what he thought of Carrie's mighty fine outfit, stateroom mate Stamford Branch replied," ". That's right, he said nothing. He was the mime.
